I had the exact same thing happen to me. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I got my account reinstated. They also banned my wife at the same time but she didn’t bother to reinstate her account. We still have no clue as to why we were both banned simultaneously. AirBnB would not tell us the reason why during the negotiations with BBB. I believe we were offered some kind of token credit.
